Our Vision
To Rebuild the Relationship Between the Community and the Church
Summer is such a special time of year for kids and it's our joy to have been a part of it since 2016. Each year we have been blessed by our community's trust in allowing us to be a part of their summer adventures. Over the past few years in particular, we have been able to raise the quality of our camps, bring diversity to our programming, create a college and high school internship program,
and give out more scholarships than ever before.
Our vision is to help rebuild the relationship between the community and the church. A large part of our history in this country the church was the center of town and was a refuge for its neighbors. As time has chugged along, this relationship has been broken. With the gospel as our guide, we strive to be a place for kids and their families to feel safe, loved, and encouraged. We are driven by this desire to create
life-long memories that lead people to Jesus. To do so, we have tried to create an option for each kind of camper by having a diverse and unique set of camps each summer.
We hope you come check us out this summer and if you want to discover more about the gospel and Jesus yourself please contact us for more.
Our Story
We started in 2016 as one small basketball camp in a North Canton neighborhood. We hoped for twenty kids to show up - to our surprise, we had over sixty! Our desire at the time was to find a better way to engage our community and find something we could offer that would help make Green a great place to be.
One basketball camp turned into three in 2017. Then in 2018 we expanded our reach and added in Art, Tennis, and Wellness camp options. Each time we added to our programming we were blessed with good attendance and positive feedback. Then came our big expansion in 2019, in which we added a full slate of eleven different camps. Since then, we continue growing each year!
We now serve over around 800 kids each summer, employee three college and ten high school interns, and depend on a team of over 100 volunteers.
